HARDY KIWI (Actinidia arguta and male arguta weiki)

This member of the kiwi family bears exceptionally sweet fruit. This is a spectacular climber and the fruits are virtually hairless.
This vigorous hardy Kiwi is not self fertile so a male plant is included in the order. The male plant can be cut back once it has done its job as a pollinator.
This is an attractive climber with heart shaped foliage and clusters of fragrant small white flowers in summer. The oval fruits can be harvested from September. They are delicious raw or made into a fantastic jam.
